About sydney

Sydney Britt is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Lauren Coats, LPC-Supervisor. She brings a calm, grounded presence to the therapy room and is intentional about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and understood.

Sydney works with children, teens, adults, and couples, tailoring her approach to the developmental stage, goals, and unique needs of each client and relationship. With children, she utilizes play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions to help them process emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen emotional regulation. With teens, she provides a steady and affirming environment to address anxiety, self-esteem, peer relationships, and life transitions.

Sydney also works with adults and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relational challenges, and personal growth. She enjoys helping couples improve communication, increase emotional awareness, and better understand patterns that create disconnection or conflict. Her work with couples is collaborative and structured, supporting partners in slowing down conversations, increasing empathy, and rebuilding trust and emotional safety.

Sydney’s clinical style is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. Under supervision, she is committed to continued professional growth and thoughtful clinical work, helping clients gain clarity, confidence, and practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
